Default Re building engine (need help)

I'm rebuilding my entire engine, and I'm concerned to use the same old parts when I put the engine back together. Do you know or have you heard of adding lots of boost and the oil pump giving up? or not pumping with the same intensity as a new pump, since the old one has over 100k miles on it already? I'm of corse changing the water pump since it's cheap, but didn't want to have to change the oil unless I really needed to.

Thanks in advance!

I'd definitely recommend dropping in a new oil pump while you have the car apart... Better safe than sorry; if you're rebuilding your engine you may as well do it right and cover all your bases.
