I bumped my f20 to a redline of 10,200 because when I do shift I want it to be higher in the rev range while entering the next gear. The higher the rpm's in the next gear the higher the hp/tq. in my case anyway.
So you over rev... letting it fall on its face for aprox 1k miles to catch a split second of your max power band in the next gear? If you even make max power at that rpm

I'd like to see the dyno with you going 10,200 rpm.

Is the power still climbing at that point?

I see it climbing at 9600 rpm and haven't gone further.
Mine peaks out right around 9400 and starts to decline. The tq drops a small amount. I have a t4 equal length with the s372. ar is only 1.00 and it can't breath that well up top. I need to swap it our for the 1.25 when I have the time. I'll try and post the plot later when I get home. I also haven't went with oversized valves on the exhasut side yet although the head was built to handle higher rpm's.

I pulled the head apart tonight, FYI, I'll be putting my AP2 valves/springs/retainers and locks up for sale tomorrow for those interested, or pm me.
