Got mine today and started it tonight. I got the fuel pump in. I was really primed for that to be a pain in the ass. It really wasn't that bad. My last home install was a 500hp VR6 VW, so this stuff is pretty easy so far (don't ever buy a VW... ever). I'm down to the crankshaft pulley now.... HOLY HELL! I figured I'd try one of the spare tire irons I have laying around... well that's got a funky curve to it. I'm pretty sure it'll snap my 1/2" drive breaker bar. I'm going to try to source a 3/4" drive and adapter for a 1/2 impact nut tomorrow from work and try it.

If anybody has any tips, please let me know. I feel like I'm going to snap the ####ing bolt off.

Chris, just pull. It took me and my buddy to do his for his CTSC. I'm 6'1, 150lbs, he is 5'7 160lbs, and it took everything we both had to break it loose. We had a breaker bar and a piece of wood against the inner fender holding the tool still, and we were on another breaker bar with a pipe on the bolt. It looked like the breaker bar was going to bend in half, but the bolt let go before the bar did. Good luck. And I want a ride when it's all done.

Flite, here's what I used.

1) PB Blaster Penetrating Catalyst (from local auto parts store) to spray the pulley bolt
2) Moroso crankshaft pulley wrench (part# 61805 I believe)
3) Old pillow between pulley wrench and passenger side shock tower
4) Old comforter on the passenger side fender (just in case)
5) 1/2" breaker bar (and ~4ft jack handle) and 19mm (or whatever size) impact socket
6) Muscle and body weight (took 3 tugs)

Including preperation, it took less than 5 minutes.

I wonder what would be needed to hit 400whp on a 2006 besides the pulley and injectors... Do you REALLY need a different ECU? I'm sure a fuel pump is needed, don't know about anything else.

^ Any bolt on you can throw at the motor: flywheel, tb, coilpacks, colder plugs, hondata img. I'm sure these mods add a substantial amount of power with this kit.

Hey all,
Dyno results are in...

2001 AP1 w/Individa exhaust+TP (all else is stock)
SoS SL SC
AC

Best run after tweaking for AFR on Dynojet
(this actually was the 10th run, car and AC were a little warm):
72.39degF, 48% Humidity
290.69 HP @ 8600rpm
182.08 TQ @ 8300rpm
Boost = 5.15
AFR = 12.23

It looked like we could have gotten a few more ponies if we reduced fuel pressure slightly but since I would rather go conservative we left it alone. We didn't touch timing at all.

I'm happy...next step is Stage 2w/AEM+tuning.
