yeah i would need my car to be ODB-II compliant.
as such, what is the max that the car can push without having to lose that compliance? am i looking at pretty much what the stage 1 can offer and thats probably it?

A couple notes to clarify above:
1. Anything above the original power level / boost level (approximately 6 psi) will require an upgrade to the engine management system. Our recommendation is Hondata K-Pro or AEM EMS. It may be possible to use other piggyback systems like the AEM F/IC, HKS FCON iS, or Greddy eManage Ultimate that offers ignition control for increased power levels.
2. The Honda K-Pro is not a piggyback system. It is a full stand alone. 06-08 retains the factory ECU for throttle control only. Both years used the K series factory ECU that is modified for full programmable control. These retain the OBD2 system, however, a scanner will report it as an ECU from a RSX.
3. The stage 1 systems are 49 state legal with the exception of California at this time.
