I am slow and never worked on an S2000 before so yeah it took me more than that. I was going very slow and was pretty anal about a few things. I also installed a pair of SPA gauges in the A pillar so that added a good bit more time. Install time all depends on the intangibles I guess. Like do you have any other mods currently installed that may a bit more time accommodating, good tools, your skill level/comfort level etc etc.

It's a well put together kit. SOS pretty much took care of all the bases. If you've got any more specific questions on installation PM me.

Finished installing the SOS kit this past week on my friend's '04. We dynoed before and after on the same dyno dynamics roller. Please understand that these numbers were calibrated in SHOOT OUT MODE. So unlike regular Dyno dynamics numbers. these will be inflated (probably more than a Dynojet). First dyno was a cool 63 degree morning. Second dyno was mid afternoon humid and 87 degrees.

So it breaks down like this:

320.6whp - 224.2whp = 96.4whp increase from stock (shootout mode numbers)

96.4 / 224.2 = .42997 or roughly a 43% increase in overall whp.

Just figured I'd share. Was worried after install that it wasn't making boost. (I tapped into the wrong vacuum line for the gauge).

I also come from the world of nissan sr20 and subaru turbos and such so I am expecting more torque.

It definitely pulls nice up top though. The power band seems the same until you get to around 6k. Then the fun begins.

Overall a well put together kit. This is a great kit for those looking for a good clean and reliable boost in power and not looking to "sweep up the streets." It makes the car much more fun to drive. We were satisfied with the results. Thanks SOS crew.

Oh forgot to add.... Stage 1 SOS kit, stock exhaust, stock headers, stock cat, standard size heat exhanger, SOS signal box on stock engine management sitting on 18in Volk winnings w/ henrik lundqvist edition polished lip and yokohama S drive tires if that matters....

Thank you for your feedback on the kit. The baseline and supercharged numbers actually sound about on par, but regardless, they are acurate as a relative measurement to know what the actual gain was. You're right at about 100 hp which is on the money.

Thank you for the feedback on the installation as well, we appreciate this.

Cheers,

Based on what I have seen on other dyno #'s, the gains are indeed on par. I made sure my friend did a before and after dyno so that we would get real #'s without need for too much speculation.

Honestly I never pay much attention to dyno numbers. Dyno's are a tool for tuning to get the car running properly, if you want to know what the car is doing after that go run it down the track

It's about how fast it goes not how high the dyno reads.

I'm still on track to buy this kit next year.
