its called the 1220SL for a reason - semenically lubricated.

Still no EMS yet which is very annoying.

Well the EMS showed up today despite what the arrival date on the tracking info said. Been working on the installation for a good portion of the afternoon and just wrapped it up about an hour ago. So far so good. I'm finishing up running the hoses from the upgraded heat exchanger and the water pump.

Question to you guys. How close does your crank shaft pulley with the supercharger piggy back pulley come from the steering rack? I do not have much room between the edge of the pulley and part of the rack. I don't want it to make contact if the engine jumps.

uhhhh... 'homey' is just about married, and is too old to be fluent in urban language.

on an intelligent note....

has anybody attempted to use the titanium CT shock tower bar with this system? i got mine to fit but the clearances are a little close to the aftercooler - looks like it'll smack the bar easily if the motor moves.

anybody got any tricks?

Steel washers between the tower bar and two studs. Will lift that side of the bar for better clearance, but seems like that would reduce the support surface area a bit. A more functional solution would be to use a complete ring/spacer that mates to the full size of the shock tower for maximum support wile lifting the bar for clearance, I would also do both sides, you should only need about 1/8" and the studs are long enough for that, also the motor swivels more then it lifts. I have found most bars rest right on top of the intake though, pushing it down which isn

Finished everything off today. I went and left the supercharger belt off and kept the stock injectors and ECU hooked up. This way I will drive over to InlinePro tomorrow morning and get them to tune it.

No real complications. Had some mix up of some vacuum lines. Also, I see oil around the VTEC solenoid and can't tell if it's leaking or if its oil that didn't get cleaned up after remounting the thing. I'll keep an eye on it. Also, I'm not sure if I need to bleed the coolant system after hacking the hose up. I topped it all off after I was done but not sure if air is in the lines.

Here is my finished picture...it looks like the others but I figured I'd throw mine out there:

and the upgraded heat exchanger:

Total install time was about 11 hours. I wasn't rushing through it by any means. I'll comment on it's performance once it's finished being tuned.
