Now that mine is on the way, can anybody confirm any tools that might be slightly out of the ordinary? I'm trying to make sure I have almost everything I need once it gets here. If someone has the instructions, maybe you could post up just the supplies needed for the install.

One concern is torque wrenches. I know that crank pulley is a bear to get off. What's the torque value when you install it? I think my most stout Q wrench only goes to 100ft/lbs.

Honest question... wasn't the standard kit available for around $3500 or something like that? I just checked and it is up to $5300.

The 06-08 kits have always been listed at $5395.00. Perhaps you were thinking the non-aftercooled kit for 00-05 which has always been less (its the most basic kit we offer).

This has been a popular question, so here is a listing of the tools required:

screw drivers (phillips no. 2, flat no. 1)
socket set & wrench (10, 12, 13, 14, 17, 19mm)
wrench set, metric (14, 17mm)
wrench, metric allen socket set (4, 8mm)
wrench, SAE allen socket set (5/32, 3/16")
wrench, adjustable
wrench, torque (7 - 53 lb/ft)
wrench, torque (up to 192 lb/ft)
crankshaft pulley removal tool (Honda part no. 07JAB-001040A & 07JAB-001020A or aftermarket Powerbuilt part no. 648796)
breaker bar (if aftermarket tool used)
pliers
hole saw, 1 3/8" (35mm)
wire cutter
wire stripper
terminal crimper
razor blade (or hose shears)
optional: 7mm nut driver (otherwise Phillips screw driver may be used)
note that thread tape, anti-seize paste, and medium thread locker is included with the kit

Please note that although we have designed the system to be as user friendly as possible, we HIGHLY recommend professional installation. If you are not comfortable with the installation, use your better judgement and have a professional complete the work. We also recommend the car to be placed on a dyno after installation to verify proper operation.

Cheers,
-- Chris

If SoS dont want to give out the install guide, why would you post in their thread to have someone send it to you when they dont wish for it to be public?

hi Justin --

We prefer to send these only with kits for a number of reasons including version control and to make sure you are getting the applicable guide for what you ordered. We don't want prior versions circulating around the web that have been out dated. We are very active with making revisions and improvements when we get feedback from customers.

That being said, I'd be happy to help you with any questions or concerns you may have about any aspect of the kit's installation.

Cheers,
-- Chris
