This kit is awesome! The charger compliments the car very well. It makes great power and has a smooth delivery. Im glad I ditch my turbo setup and went with this kit. Thanks Chris!

So, with the stage one kit, and the SOS FVM on an AP1, there is no tuning needed after install?

Mine fired up on the first crank after all connections were checked and double checked. Instructions recommend dyno testing, but no tuning for 00-05 Stage 1 systems. Bolt and go pretty much.

I'm looking to do stage 2 soon. That will require tuning.

It's got an adjustable rising rate FPR that should be set on a dyno. I think you can very safely drive the car to the dyno, but it should definitely go on the dyno to set the a/f right away.

Are different spark plugs needed with the base kit?

Has yours shown up yet? I'm seriously considering a stage 1 kit.
