This pertains to both AP1 and AP2.

So I take it you've had the krankvents on your car?

What "bad" things happened?
Yes, I did...I made a number of posts in multiple threads about this issue about the front krank vent.

Loss of power was the 'bad thing' they caused.

I use the supra valve in line with the stock AP1 valve since its a little different then the AP2 crank case. Nothing bad would happen because of this correct (they are both working in the same direction so they don't contridict each other)?

Both valves inline should let pressue out of the crankcase normally, whether it's AP1 or AP2. It's pressure from the intake manifold that the supra valve will stop from going the other direction.

Bumping up an old thread, so apparently this is not quite the same exact thing as the Krank Vent, and that might be a good thing. My question is this-- for a basically stock AP1, will this DIY reduce oil consumption?

What about running another supra PCV valve on the line to the intake pipe as in the krankvent system? Wouldnt this allow for creation of vacuum in the crankcase?

It should accomplish that.
