I do believe the bell housing does unbolt from the trans or maybe im not seeing it right.

Did you guys not see the link I posted? (I'm referring to the guys who mentioned price) The tranny from that site is $5400 brand new. that is cheap when it comes to this stuff.

I under stand what an adapter dose. But how do you make up for the space between the transmission and the block? Do you have a spacer for the fly wheel?
But then what about the starter?
It seems adapters are pretty standard for the sr20 crowd along with the domestics.
As many times as this topic has been brought up over the years, you would think that a company would make an adapter kit for the s2000.

This thread is win. There hasn't been such parts made for these cars because there hasn't been a huge demand for them prior to the last 2 years where demand has increased significantly. ^ the space between the bell housing and block would have to be compensated with a custom made clutch and flywheel for that application. Im verrry interested to see where this topic goes. Subscribed
I agree. two years ago 500ish whp was a lot for a stock motor. Now people keep pushing these things as far as possible and the motors keep taking the abuse! But the drivetrains have not been so lucky/happy
