I a really interested in making a bottom mount kit work on a LHD car. I have a track only car with no AC and am very interested in this setup

Is anyone going to run full boost on their stock motor using the 91?

When speaking with Richard, he said 15 psi was the most boost he was comfortable with running on stock motor. FYI

There are other customers of theirs running e85 and full boost. There's other guys on here with 500,600 hp setups off 100% stock engines. Depends on if you're going balls to the wall non stop, that might play a factor in how long your motor will last.

Yeah I did a bit of a search and found this thread:

https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/923...can-they-hold/

However there doesn't seem to be one that addresses the amount of boost the F20c can handle, unless I'm going blind :s

Wow. Maybe I steered him into that recommendation. Could it have something to do with being in Texas with plenty days of 100-110 degree weather? Sorry for the noob question, but I planned on just putting this and a clutch in. I want to do spring retainers and rollers at a later date. Will I be safe doing this? What all would you do to your motor to run 18-20 psi safe, keep it a reliable daily driver, and being in texas with plenty of heat?

I think Richard is right. On pump gas 14-15psi is usually the maximum level people run. His 18psi run I believe he starts to cut timing to stay safe but that is not what I would do. You can safely run 18-20psi with E85 or race gas. I was running an 18-20psi ptuning kit making 560whp on E85 with no problems. However, I don't beat on my cars. It depends on how you drive. The engine is strong and can take boost.
