Hi guys I have this kit and I'm leaking oil from turbo itself.
Checked if it was the oil lines but no.
I was told it wont cause problems but...

Any suggestions???
Can you post a pic so we can see it? That might help us figure out what's happening.

You car will overheat in traffic. It will go to 4 bars (in an ap1). Which means you should turn off your air condition.
Cant speak for AP2s, but AP1s do this on their own. If the car hits 4 bars, the AC compressor will shut off and not come back on until it hits 3 bars again. BTW, I have had this happen to me when my motor was stock. It was caused by a front grill in my radiator cutout.

I'm sure it's turbo itself.
i went to 3 body shops and 2 told me there's leak from turbo
1 told me there's oil leak but dunno where
of the 2 that told me there's a leak, one shop even took it out n showed me.

I'm js curious if i have to replace it.
if I don't am I losing power???

it depends on where it's leaking from exactly. like others suggested, a picture would help. if there's a crack in the center cartridge, yes you'll need to replace the turbo for sure, if it's just leaking from one of the oil passages, might just need a washer or new oil line. It could be leaking from the seals, or even just a build of of excessive blow by leaking out of the coupler areas. Point is, it really depends WHERE it's leaking from. Leaking from 'the turbo' is too general for anyone to pinpoint what exactly needs to be fixed.

I'm sure Greddy will sell you a new replacement, but you could just get that one rebuilt. If the car can't be down while its getting rebuilt, you could buy a used one and have it rebuilt then just swap them out and sell your old one.

no way, rebuilding yours will definitely be cheaper than buying a new one...as long as the turbo is still rebuildable and not destroyed.

Alright guys here is the low down. I purchased a Greddy turbo kit for ap1. I have a 2008 ap2, which I assume everyone knows I have the DBW system. I've read and searched through a lot of threads before buying the kit and after.

Alright here is the dilemma. Supposedly ap1 injectors do not fit ap2 dbw's. I need a straight answer for this one. Will I need to buy new rc 550 injectors meant for dbw ap2's? And also would it be better for me just to buy bigger injectors since I am getting new ones anyways. I was just going to jump for 1000cc injectors but I'm getting feedback that it is overkill for the kit, but if tuned will it even matter?

In the ap2 dbw kit, It doesn't include the 255 walbro fuel pump. Will I have to switch this out either way? I've read that you do not need to swap fuel pumps if you don't go beyond 350hp. I was considering about doing this part of the kit anyways.

As for engine management I will be running the Hondata flashpro of course. I will be running the basemap they created just recently.

I also plan on upgrading everything piece by piece down the road. I'm talking about two years time if not more. If it is overkill on the fuel system would it not be better to go ahead and run that fuel setup so I don't have to buy it later?

I did my research and I pretty much hit a brick wall and I need advice from you senior FI guys. Thanks.

^^ I recently did the same thing last year so I can help you with this.....someone correct me if I'm wrong on anything....

I have an 06 and bought an used ap1 kit last year. You'll be able to use the same 550c injectors, but the O rings and spacers are different sizes. I ordered a new fitting kit from SOS ($28 plus shipping). The fitting kit includes new O rings and the proper spacers you'll need for the AP2.

AP2 DBW don't run fuel pumps so you won't need that Walbro pump.

Hondata flashpro is definitely the way to go. My car was one of the "guinea pigs" for one of the first Greddy DBW maps. Here's the thread to the results of that tune:
