Just an FYI. If you have the Greddy turbo kit and need to replace the timing chain tensioner, you do not have to remove anything (except the TCT lol). The suction pipe (love the name ) is in the way but if you pull out the upper bolt that holds it to the compressor housing and rotate it toward the passenger frame rail, the TCT comes right out.

Hi I was planning on purchasing a brand new 04-05 greddy kit for my 01, and I was wondering what all do I need to put this on besides the 01 basemaps?

You need to change a jumper on the harness if it's for an ap2. I'm pretty sure everything else fits perfectly.

Also, don't trust the cast manifold. They ALL crack. I torqued mine down correctly, never let it get wet... basically I took great care of it and it still cracked. I'm sure it's due to the crappy flow of it and the heat that it sees.

It's not like a s/c. You can't swap a pulley for more boost. You can get a boost controller and a bigger downpipe or swap the turbo if you want to upgrade.

i think they are still considering the high boost kit. which would be something like hardware only, larger turbo, and you get your own engine management.

Good news for current Greddy kit owners though is that *i believe* they are working on a revised manifold again.

I hope they do revise the manifold. It's junk, and they all seem to crack. Thats the only problem I've had with the kit. Even so, that's still a BIG part of the kit...

If they do upgrade the kit, hopefully it'll come with a harness that will let you control vtec... that's another thing I hate about it.

It's pretty easy to fix their harness. You have to move JP17 to 1-2 and wire the VTM pin through the EMU instead of just doing a passthrough.
