When the car is idling is the wastegate supposed to be cracked a little bit and sound like an exhaust leak? or is that only at WOT?
- The WG itself should be quiet under all circumstances.
- The WG should be closed at idle if there is a spring inside it.

Well my friend installed it and i trusted him, and just realized he never installed the valve seat, this could be the reason correct?
Yes if you have the dumptube to atmosphere and the valveseat is gone, it will sound like an exhaustleak. Spank your friend pls.
