Doesn't it run through it and out the other one to recirculate?

As you see here the SOS one is the same as are most upgraded heat exchangers...

I guess all it takes is a barrier between the two on the one end tank. I hope that's in there, lol. On the SOS one it looks pretty obvious.

I'm sure it is otherwise would be a pointless thing. Not just an open tank inside to fill up or something.

not sure how those work, but the fluidyne one is a three pass before it leaves the exchanger. you dont just want it to flow right in and out. longer its in the exchanger, the more it can dissapate heat.
