i don't know the exact road by road way to get there since my 1st visit. now its like a salmon swimming up stream for me, i just know how to get there from where i'm at.

seriously though, just type in palomar obervatory on mapquest and it will give you exact directions. you take S6 to get there and at the end of S6 you take a right on the intersection to go to S7 and left takes you to the observatory.

this site should have the address.

video of S7: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MUw8CG6Kjpg...related&search=

S7 in the S is 3rd and 4th gear and very few 2nd gear changes but i managed to top off 4th gear in the S in its many long straights.
That is more like Cherohala Skyway - high speeds and sharp cuves all on one road.
The Dragon is considerably slower, but has constant switchbacks and short straights to get up to 80 or so and then hard on the brakes again.

Your road looks like a blast!

hopefully you didn't just see the S7 video.

after seeing some of the videos i posted its really hard to tell what to expect especially with all of them going up on S6. its one of those things you have to drive it to see what i'm talking about going downhill on S6.

well I agree about the views. The dragon has no view. But the view is really not what I go for...

It's not famous because it's in the middle of no where, but this is my road. I'm the 1st house on the Leggett side.
