Ryan,
You want to make sure you don't block the V1's rear view so it can get a full read of the back.

Windscreen is only good if you have the remote because you will lose the use of the arrows otherwise.

I had mine directly under the rear view mirror. It was unobtrusive and it got the best angle front and back without any obstructions.

Theres another one floating around here where the guy installed the V1 directly into the rear view mirror. No wires could be seen and I think the unit was in the secret compartment or something. I'll try and find it...
