Mid 70's BMW 2002 restoration project...

12 Trim and shiny stuff
Started reattaching a lot of the body and window trim I got back from chrome plating. The door handle and the mirrors are being polished as we speak. I found a set of bumpers that don't have the ugly plastic/rubber strip going across them, and they've got a mirror finish, so I look forward to attaching those.
The good news is that the headliner has been fixed, and the seats are almost done, as well as the interior door panels. The bad news is that I can't find the part needed to fix that window in stock anywhere, so I had to order it from zee land of chocolate. Should be here soon, but for now at night I tape the window up with plastic... don't want those squirrels back in there again.
For those wondering about the sticker, it's an original Gerald Ford campaign sticker, and I've been told if it wasn't attached to my window, it might fetch a tidy sum on eBay. Unfortunately, I can't remove it without damaging it, so I think I might leave it- One tiny spot on the car that has gone completely untouched through the restoration.

13 Interior back in
So, got the interior back from the upholstery shop, and it's all bolted it in... except for the passenger door (window). I'm a sucker for a deep burgundy or red leather on a car that can pull it off. I think this car can pull it off. The seats are well bolstered, and now that there's a nice interior, I'm even more worried about that window and the squirrels.
Thankfully, the part that I needed to repair the window came in today, so I can finally fix it, and get everything all together. A few more pieces bolted on, and she'll be DONE.

14 Done to OEM spec!
Got all the shiny bits screwed on, new bumper in place, window fixed, interior done, etc. etc. etc. It felt good to snap the roundel in place on the hood- that was the last thing I did.
Of course, now that she's back to OE specs, now I can fix her up a little bit.
