Derryck,

how much do you plan to sell this kit for?

and you said that you tried to stay away from a piggyback ECU, but did you afterall?

Also, do you experience any detonation with the turbo charger?

Spoiled, the target I believe was 5500-6500. They are not using a piggy back computer, but rather several (4 that I recall off hand) tricks to get the stock ECU to work with it. The 'tricks' are the MAP sensor positive manifold fix (see "ghost booster", but they have a more simple mechanical fix -- I am not sure if they would like it if I gave any more info on this), the second 'trick' is figuring out how to retard the timing slightly with out modifying the fuel map, and the third trick is to figure out to get the ECU to work with a straight pipe (not necessary, but one part of the 327 hp at 6 psi figure) and the fourth thing is a preasure sensitive fuel preasure regulator.

The end product will not have any problems with detonation due to slightly less agressive timing. The S/C apparently does the same thing, but since the air charge is so hot the ECU does this automatically.

Nice set-up Derryck. Looking forward to seeing your machine at "Hot Imports Nights" Lauderdale.

Not jealous, of what??? Derryck and Bird both had great looking Turbo's, I just had the S/C on order and knew nothing about the turbo. I can have anything I want if I wanted it and the turbo isn't wwhat I'm looking for. Maybe your the one who's jealous Not to offend you or anything just my .02.

Ozy, don't what you're talking about. What missing low end torque? Hope that answers your question. People... take a vacation, come to Florida and go for a ride, all of your questions will be answered.
