I might do complete DIY with pictures when i'm done with this project so I can help others.

 

AP1 part number is 33192-S2A-003

AP2 part number is 33147-S2A-A11

So yes the connector that hooks to the igniter is different, but the connector that hooks to your cars wire harness is the same. So you will 100% need the ap2 (#14 in diagram) wire to hook to your ap2 igniter, and it will plug directly to your ap1's wire harness.

Don't you think the connectors that goes to the car harness are a little different? I guess one's I buy them I will Know for sure.

 

The end that connects to your car harness are identical on both of them. I'm pretty sure its the connector to the igniter that is different on each of them.

This wire was already on my ap2 headlights when I got them, and my ap1 harness on my car connected right into the ap2 connector.

This was my main concern, the whole thing about the wires and car harness.
