it is a combination of driving style and wider tires with heavier rims. i already said that in the original post. please don't add anything if there's no purpose to it just to jump on the bandwagon.

I'll just keep posting this until you stop ignoring it:

[QUOTE]and why do you think an ap2 diff is going to be any better. the only part thats really an upgrade is the case.

i think you are retarded, you are probably breaking the ring gear not the LSD.

the LSD is not going to break, you will bust the case or the ring gear LOOOONG before you bust the actual LSD

i think you're a kid that needs to take mechanical engineering courses. i can take pictures of all 3 differentials with all 3 ring gears in tact and all three pinions in tact, without so much as even a hairline fracture. then i can show you the chips of metal coming from the half shafts being eaten up inside the lsd.

Redesign of the LSD and the same partnumber? Don't think so. How could you prevent mixing up 2 different LSD's in stock if they have the same number?
Where did you get this info that Honda made the gears "tougher"?

oem 17's are heavier than oem 16's with the wider tires. i found a great deal for 500 for all four.
ce28n's are significantly lighter as well

it's an lsd designed for an s2000 it will go in both ap1 and ap2, you can make a tougher gear set inside an lsd without changing an lsd's components....same components, tougher material. i'm not sure how you didn't decipher that yourself.
