But it can be done. The other tricky part is resealing with no leaks to prevent fogging.
Or you can just put it in the oven and the seal will be hot enough all around to easily pull it apart

I tried both methods (oven & heatgun) but I had no luck. Apparently, it seems that the adhesive used on these lights isn't the normal one which softens when heat applies. There was no way to open the housing without damaging. Has anyone else tried it and succeed it?

I think the best method is to cut out a small piece on the top of the housing, in order to give you access to the inner part and then glue it back together and seal it. It won't be visible with the boot closed.

Tony,

There is a workaround to get it fixed. You can drill a very small hole on the black plastic casing above. You do not need to drill a big hole, just a hole big enough to deliver CA glue at the tip of a rod. Just one or two drops of CA glue is good enough . After the CA glue is delivered and the lens properly put back, just use some black silicon to seal the hole up.

Quick Update on mine:

Last month the ring came off on passenger, yesterday, the ring came off on driver side. Good to know these are not bake-able. May try the drill, but likely I will just trash them

Hi Rudy.

I don't think it's as easy as you think. These rings have clips on the back side and need some pressure in order to clip in to their place. How is it possible to push them in from a small hole? I think that the only possible solution is to cut a piece on the top black side, use your hand to push the ring in to its place and glue it there. Then you just have to glue back the piece so it's closed again.

Anyway, I just ordered a new set. I intend to glue them from the back side and seal them properly with silicone and sell this set. I don't want to waste my time on fixing poorly-made lights.

I have the reflector falling off problem too. I eventually swapped my OEM lights back on, shoved some high output LED bulbs in them and called it a day. The replica LED's really aren't that bright in the day time.

I think it may work before they completely fall off. Mine are completely off now

This is for the taillights made for the AP2 as well? It seems to me like the problem occurs on the lights meant for the AP1 primarily. This is sad as I was planning on ordering these for my AP2
