Default Budget coils

Id like to buy coils that will only be used for daily driving and that can be set very stiff with no bounce, preferably under 950 or 900. Considering I'm not tracking it that's a reasonable price range. I'm on 18's now with no stretch and no camber and I can't tuck so I'm not looking to go that low right now but should be getting new wheels soon most likely 17's and at that point I wanna go pretty low. Not looking for springs. Everyones input is welcome thank you

You will bounce unless you buy a quality coilover. Doesnt matter if you are not tracking or not, the ride quality is horrible on cheap suspension. Dont waste your money,....you WILL regret it after the initial "im low" wears off

Not sure about the s2000, but I had BC's on my 07 civic si for about 20k miles and it rode as good as stock if not better.

One thing you may want to look into is ST coilovers, made by KW. Part #13250005. I don't see anyone on these forums running them but they are popular on other vehicles.

THmotorsports gave me a great quote (<800).

According to KW support "the spring rate for the front and rear is 457 lbs/in", they utilize helper springs, and they 1-2.2 inches.

Everyone acts like a good quality coilover has to be over $1000. I've rode in my friends s2 with Megan' tracks and they're nice af and not far from stock with no bounce. So I disagree. And I'm not talking dirt cheap here so the ride quality isn't gunna be that bad.

I agree about the cheap coilovers being a bouncy ride.

Buddy club are decent for under a grand but I think they are too bouncy.

Koni yellows with ground control coilover sleeves I think are best bet for under $1000!

You can only judge a coilover by riding in something of high quality and then realize the others were junk. I had Buddyclub N+
There is a reason "cheap" coilovers are always for sale at any time in the classified.

+1 if you're staying under a grand just do konis with GC. If not you could get some FA 500s for a little more.
