Default Differential collars

Just wondering for those of you with diff collars installed notice any significant amount of vibration through the cabin. Im thinking of getting some and read about some people experiencing vibrations. If so how bad and is it worth the extra feel you get with yhe collars installed?

If I experienced any increase it was so minor that I can't quantify it.

I didn't notice any vibration but there was a slight increase in noise.

I would say the collars are worth it.

BTW selling a set of gold Exedium collars if you are interested, pm me.

I have exedium collars. No noticeable difference in ride or sound. Some say the collars provide a more direct response but to me its just a peace of mind the mounts wont tear so easily.

Should you change the mounts before you put the diff collars on? or if the mounts are good(no tears) but have 115k miles on them the diff collars are all you need?

I 3 season DD, have diff collars. Very slight increase in vibes. Very slight. Totally tolerable and could easily be ignored. I am an Old Guy, sensitive to ride quality, etc.

I feel the collars are totally worth it. Much improved shifter feel, which was a surprise. Plus the security of restricted diff motion under extreme conditions, etc.

You do not need to go with new mounts. Just need to not be leaking mounts.

I have these and I feel that there was no increase in noise or vibration. Aftermarket motor mounts like hasports on the other hand have unbearable noise and vibration.
