Default Picture Request Robbins top in the down position

Hey guys, Bought another s2000 that has a robbins top. When I put it down for the first time yesterday, it didnt look to go down all the way (compared to oem). want to see others peoples pictures. also is there any type of adjustments or is it just swap out those straps?

Check the folding support bar. Make sure the support bar(see link for reference) folds back properly. I manually fold the bar when lowering my Robbins Top. I plan on buying Modifry's straps though.

As said above

Another tip is the read glass is actually bigger so it didn't fold down in the package tray all the way and gets held up by the softop cover clip things (I don't know the right name of them)

I might have to swap it with a ap2 frame/oem top.

If the straps dont make it go down ALL the way I wont like it . that blows lol

Replacing the elastic straps that pull the soft top frame back together when retracting helped mine to fold more flat inside the tray and sit lower. They are the two elastic straps right above the driver and passenger's heads when the top is up.

I had an issue with mine where the rear window was too large and would prohibit the top from folding all the way no matter how much I messed with the elastic straps and bar. I can't say for sure if my top is a Robbins top or not but it is definitely aftermarket.

Be sure the two middle tonneau cover studs are removed. Also the 2 forward elastic straps are OK. And if this is a glass conversion that the listing panel is above the rear bow.
