Default What is this rubber thing I found?

Can anybody tell me what/where this part is meant to go? That's if it is off an S2000. I found it in the cargo net pocket. Sorry its blurred but phone camera cannot do close up.

IIRC, there were some little rubber stoppers on the rear tray behinds the seats. I only remember this from doing a fuel pump install recently. The one you have pictured might be too big though to be that part.

do you have a hardtop or did the previous owner have a hardtop (if it was used?)

If so, it can be the bumper that sits on the soft top frame when you have a hardtop on.

Yep, looks like the rubber bumper/stopper that is on the J shaped bracket on the hardtop. It would be towards the back of the vehicle though - not sure how it'd be in the cargo net?

I guess it has one both sides then. I've only just got the car so not familiar with everything. So will have to have a go at putting the hard top on and off and found out how to exactly. then I can check for the bumper stop.
maybe it fell off and someone wasn't sure where it was from so just stored it there.

thanks, hope this sorts the mystery lol

Correct, I was too lazy to post a picture when I first posted but here is the bracket and rubber stopper.
