You just have to be sure that the clear film isn't too thick. Rick's Accessories sells SpeedFilm Clear Headlight Protection which is supposedly thin enough (9 mil) that it doesn't trap the heat.

Yeah when I had mine done I asked him about the potential problem and he said he'd put on the thinnest 3m he had, which was bs when I took it off it was pretty damn thick for sure,
$75 down the drain if you ask me,

Believe it or not....I actually am pretty happy with my chaser top. I had to buy new weatherstripping and need a new back window, but you have the same problem with Seibon & VIS. I know even Mugen has problems with the window fading a little. The fitment overall is not bad though.

^ What material is the inside of the hardtop pictured in your avatar lined with? Looks awesome!

Strut brace. It was only an ebay one but it really didn't do much.

I still keep it on for looks though.

None of the strut tower bars really do anything for this car. So just saved money for something that does the same thing as a $400 one..

Yeah exactly. It only cost me 100 dollars and the J's racing one was 250.

I just thought to myself "how is the J's one going to do anything better?" and bought the cheaper one.

It does give a nice little bit of bling to the engine bay, lol.
