we would all like to participate and help out SV and s2ki sponsors
judging by your list on trackhq/street modified, out of those 13 drivers, rob, kel, tim, and daryl can take out all the competition, theoritically. it will just make people not participate in that class since we would all know the end result. not saying the other drivers dont have skill to beat them but so far its predictable.
why even bother with a FI class?? so far seems like a 2-3 people that are FI track, while majority is in your proposed street modified/NA.
it seems affordable because most of the people that u listed already have wing, wheels, tires, some aero, lots of seat time, etc.

As for stock class its no wonder you're going to thin out the playing field at the end of the year. People get competitive, they want to go faster. No one wants to drive a stock car for an entire year. It's just not normal. People mod their cars as they go, they want to go faster. Competition is going to thin out in this class over the year for sure. If you can't see that or can't see why - I don't know what to tell you. Take a step back and let it sink in. You're not going to attract anyone who knows they are going to get tossed around track by much more experienced drivers in a given class catered to their own whims.
Lets forget the money option. Racing isn't cheap. Lets forget about catering to what you already see on the track. Let's think about setting up a system that is fair for everyone, and will attract people who don't race their S2000's at all. At the current, nothing is getting done. All the proposed ideas are, IMO, horrible. You can't talk about bringing in more customers by catering to the ones you currently have. It doesn't make sense. Stop using that argument.

Can you direct me to those wheels at those prices? I can only find AP1's at those prices.
My rain tire set of wheels where 250 for the first 2 and 75 for the 3rd and 50 for the forth as I got more frugal.
Unless something has changed a lot since last year.

Post a WTB and be willing to accept some minor curbing and I had no problem.

Is this actually going to take place or are we going to bench race this to its doom. I think it should be about having a good group of enthusiasts who come together to enjoy a competitive environment. I doubt there will be more than bragging rights at stake here. I personally would love to see how we all shake out on the track at the same time. Yes there will be faster drivers with better parts but it sure beats any day at the office!!
