you can't build your classes on the what if tho. if you spend enuf you can find some perfect combo
Assign points to the CR then.

My cars bone stock with the exception of springs (not from me but a previous owner) I also don't run stock wheels. Am I in modified? I run a vented hood and a hardtop. If that bumps me into street modified I may as well throw on my coilovers. I am still unclear as to what stock is.

I don't understand your point tho. You're saying that my or karim's goal isn't to attract the most drivers?
It's a series that while I'd love to do more of, I can't. That that thought has never left my mind.
We're telling you from experience what happens as drivers progress and what has cause problems in the past.
Take from it what you will.

i would love this event becomes a driving event (spending money on driving - SV profitable) than a tuning event (spending money on mods & tires - non SV profitable)

don't you think my suggestions make this game more affordable? which should attrack more total drivers?

judging by your list on trackhq/street modified, out of those 13 drivers, rob, kel, tim, and daryl can take out all the competition, theoritically. it will just make people not participate in that class since we would all know the end result. not saying the other drivers dont have skill to beat them but so far its predictable.
why even bother with a FI class?? so far seems like a 2-3 people that are FI track, while majority is in your proposed street modified/NA.
it seems affordable because most of the people that u listed already have wing, wheels, tires, some aero, lots of seat time, etc.

i have to agree with you that tire is the simplest way to go faster, but then not neccesary the cheapest way cos 90% or more participants are tracking their DD tires, only a minority have dedicated track wheels & tires, so making most owners to buy r comp on another set of wheels, or forcing them DD/waste r comp that doesn't last long aren't cheap
on the other hand, event organizer doesn't need to make a stock s2k go faster by giving pp the chance to run r comp or ridiculus 275 width (how many s2k owners track their cars over 255 size? not even 1%), as long as everyone is on the same boat, the competition is there and fun, right?
maybe that's why stock class was dead back in your age cos nobody in this class can afford expensive 275 r comp for the whole season?

stock class was on street tires. nothing about sizes.

kenny your in cr specs, your running 08 wheels afterall haha

not so with my coilovers
wonder how a ap1 with CR bracings, suspension stuff, and aero would do compared to a real CR??

You can buy 4 ap2 rear wheels for $75-50/ea. It's far and away the cheapest way to go faster.
