rule will be changed to give points to softtop removal instead of hardtop, but street/modfied class will require to run hardtop if softop is removed
how many points do you think it will be?

it doesn't look like that has any advantage, I think Ed will not give you points for that
Thats a slippery slope. I think you guys might want to consider no. Any intake get points.

Just my 2bits.

Who's to say it doesn't make hp?

the concept is not higher or bigger than CR wing, but a little tolarance is okay, we haven't seen anything that's ambiguous, APR200 on high mount is obviously a lot higher, please let Ed know if you have a wing that's not easily classified!
Thanks, I have seen some wings that are about at the roof line (obviously high mount), while others have a lower (mid window) mount and lastly a few that sit on the trunk. Im in no danger of going above the 5pts for this event. It was more of a plan for future mods.

I agree with Krazik, that any mod to intake should get let's pt, it is just easier to rule. so you won't have one keep asking if this or that improves performance. this applies to everything to keep ruling simple.

u guys should only worry if it is borderline in point that will bump you into another class. if you are 8 pt. like me. still a ton of room to stay in mod. it wouldn't matter much if there is a 1/4 point not accounted for.

I have a few things I like to clarify:

1. cars can update and backdate right w/o incurring point ? e.g. AP1 can install AP2 wheels. AP2 can run AP1 flywheel. AP1 can run AP2 shocks, sway bar, etc. may be just rule out CR parts.

2. I would like to add a 0.25 pt or so for removing passenger seat. some might want to remove it to carry wheels/tires to track. it could be spare (in case of bent wheel/flat spot), or r-comp (4 probably won't fit).

Does that mean we still add for stripped or light weight hard top?

Question: if you end up modifying your car to a point where it bumps you into a different class, do you continue adding points to those earned from your previous class, or do you start all over? I.e. once we commit to a class, are we stuck there unless we forfeit points from that class?

In years past you started over. Otherwise it is a pita for the points keeper.
