Anyone drive ProjectMu CRs on the street between track days? How's that working out?
Thanks.

Yes, they typically do outlast XP10 and XP12. I drive my Club Racers on the street in between track days and they are perfectly fine. They make some noise from time to time but are pretty quiet for the most part. Also the dust isn't bad at all for a track pad. Cold bite is better than most street pads and it only gets better after a few applications of the pedal.

Fairly subjective on how your use your brakes therefore comparing how long pads last from manufacturer to manufacturer isn't a great barometer of what brakes to use. If this were a life to $ issue, Hawk DTC-70 would work very well for the price. Anyways, that's besides the point.
CT dust will stick if you completely neglect the dust on your wheels. It washes off quite well if you spend an extra 5 minutes after your trackday to wash it off. On another note, it's also some good practice to take off your wheel and spend a little time actually waxing it. It sounds retarded for dat tracklyfe, but it reduces the headache when you do wash your wheels.
In terms of pad life, some people can get 8-9 days out of CT XP12s and some people get 3-4 days out of them. Club Racers average around 4-5 days (seen as high as 7 days). I have some friends running them down in 2-3 days with ducting. It's all about how you use your brakes.
Currently I'm running Project Mu 999 front and rear with no ducting so my views are probably a little biased.

Two excellent cleaners after racing
They won't make you faster, but you'll look better!
