hi guys, thanks for your reply. No i am not refering to the bolt on bits. All of that is gone. If you took all of that away u still have this massive steel structure that the hard top would rest on, and you would also see the original stuff bolts protruding from this bulkhead wall where the soft top normally hooks up to.

The car isnt exactly the lightest due to the cage and the spot welding.

why would u say that? A stock car weighs in around 2700/2800 lbs. you have to account for the full roll cage (not a bolt on) with side impact bars and all. Im also carrying triple oil coolers (Engine/Gbox/Diff) which unfortunately adds back weight from the stuff u usually save when gutting i.e soft top, airconditioning, interior. etc.

Seems like the STU prepped guys are coming in 2200-2350 ish. BSP S2000 (Thorne) is around 2400 without cage (and has to run full interior and a passenger seat).

We're shooting to get our future E-production CR down to 2350 to make minimum weight with driver (but we don't have to run headlights).

So the 2464 seemed a little heavy and was wondering if there was something you still had in the car (like evap / heaters).
