Goodridge lines issue........
My Goodridge lines on my 01 S never leaked. As said above, do not use any kind of sealant on brake fittings. Modern cars use double flare seals that rely on pressure between the seals, not the threads.
You'll also need to bleed your brakes a little at each corner several times over the next few weeks to get all the air out of the brake lines after replacing the lines.
Be very careful when working on your brake system, when you lose pressure in one of the two diagonal circuits you don't get much braking from the good circuit.

You need to take a look at the fittings. Are they a double flare or bubble flare fitting? THey did change somewhere along the way and we found out the hard way. The threads are the same but the "seating" surface is different shape. I would seriously take it apart and make sure you have the correct part and end fitment before you go and drive it.

Does the end of your hard line look like the first or second?
My guess is that it looks like the first picture and so does your braided line.
