The +/-1" definitely helps, Thanks. So that and the quote below tells me I'll be fine if I bolt these up and the car sits a little lower.

I found the following interesting as I always thought stock class cars had to ride stock height, apparently not.

Found in the stock, shock absorber section:

"2. Suspension geometry and alignment capability, not including ride
height, may not be altered by the substitution of alternate shock
absorbers."

"3. Adjustable spring perches are allowed, but the spring loadbearing
surface must be in the same location relative to the shock mounting
points as on the standard part. Shims may be used to achieve
compliance."

My lower perches are set to the OEM height based on the lower mounting point. I didn't read anything about preload in the rule book which, I think, is the only thing I'm dealing with that was not addressed.

I noticed you used the oem dust boot, did you use the oem bumpstop too? Did you trim it?

I did use the stock bumpstop and did not trim. I measured the shaft length from the top of the shock body to the top of the bumpstop and it measured nearly the same for OEM and Moton. I figured with using oem springs, I should be ok.

We recently did this for a customer using JRZ RS Pros. We can do the same thing for a new set of Motons. However, keep in mind the Motons come with a 14mm OD where the top mount is installed.

When using factory top mounts, we machine the Moton shaft from 14mm to 12mm. You could do the same.
