My point earlier still applies, and that is to first work on consistent, proper foot placement before doing mods that can mask poor technique. Threshold or ABS braking with anything but the ball of your foot on the brake, esp. when heel and toeing, is not going to be consistent and may be dangerous, in my opinion, though it may not matter much when you are not threshold braking like when street driving (or not braking on the edge on the track ).

I agree, I wouldn't have moded the S2000 brake pedal if I thought I could H/T with the stock setup.

I had a similar problem with the Viper at first. I had to drive with the steering wheel tilted up one notch higher than I'd prefer until I lowered the seat 1".

If the S2000 had a tilt or telescoping steering wheel, or if I lowered the seat, I suppose I could work with the stock pedals. Maybe someday I'll have a racing seat like you (do you drive to work in that thing?).

I bought the bling bling Gemballa pedals for the Porsche cuz they looked purty . With an adjustable seat height, and steering wheel (telescopes), coupled with large properly spaced pedals, I found the stock setup in the Boxster about perfect for my size 10-1/2 E feet.

 

I actually do . But I drive it probably 1/3 the time. My other "car" is, believe it or not (Wurth won't give me a break), a Buick Rendezvous. It's the perfect antidote (or anti-matter?) to my car, and a great kid-mobile. So everytime I go from the Buick into my car, it feels like I'm getting into and driving a formula car... love that feeling, especially when I leave on the R-compounds (lazy to change them) and the JRZ's nice and firm too. And when I get back in the Buick, it feels like a loungemobile .

 

That's how it felt when I had the Mercury Grand Marquis rental for a week. I was really getting to like it , and would have taken it to Pahrump had they not finished the chick car in time.
