Default Possible TSB for 350Z front end re-build - WILL ALLOW FRONT END CAMBER ADJUSTMENT

I don't know the full details, and I don't know yet if it is fact, but my buddy with a '03 350Z has pretty reliable contacts that are professionaly racing the 350 as well as dealer's reps.

The only news I've heard is that there is a possibility of a TSB coming out to correct some of the front end problems that the Z has had since it came out. The change involves almost a complete re-build of the front end and will allow for camber adjustment (something the Z did not have originally) in order to correct some of the alignment problems.

I'm hoping to get more information soon, but that is all I have now. Maybe some of you guys can get a little more info and share with the rest of us.

Were crash bolts available for some legal camber adjustment in the first place?

He mentioned that also. I haven't looked at the 03 rulebook, but I wouldn't think those would be permitted as they would permit adjustment that was otherwise unattainable in it's 'stock' condition.

Assuming you're talking about SCCA autocross, crash bolts are legal if they are "specifically authorized by the factory shop manual for non-competition purposes." Beyond that, I can't find it laid out in the rules, but anything covered in a TSB is also fair game.

If this rumor is valid, it could be a big help for the 350Z's chances.

I haven't heard of this at all. There is a TSB for the Z's tendency to pull to the right. Nissan defines pulling if the car completely changes lanes by itself in 7 seconds or less at 60mph. The TSB had a kit that just slightly pushes one of the suspension members forward a bit, but it does nothing for allowing camber adjustment. The Z32's also had no camber adjustment as well. There are a few companies that will have adjustable front upper A arms soon.

The only TSB I've heard of allows a caster adjustment, and only on one side of the car. This from a source who would know if there was one relating to camber.
