The one thing my car hasn't broken is the diff....so now that I've said that, it will probably shatter sometime in mid april at the NJ pro.

Hubs/Wheel Bearings
Both front LCA's
Rear camber arm (control arm), which bent the toe arm also
Clutch line (fluke incident)
A rear shock
Many bushings
A motor
Even with a cooler it always boils the power steering fluid when it is hot and co-driven (amsoil fluid)

That was just this year. Only ran about 12-13 events in the car all year as well.

WTH why does the the car keep breaking? I wouldn't think a S2000 would have these issues would it? Besides diff and axles.

The biggest problem for the s2k's in SP is the same as STR, diffs. Pretty sure Jason had at least one spare with him at Nats.

From what i have gathered, roll center adjusters are illegal for *SP. But a single modified control arm is legal and subsequently, could aid in roll center adjustment.

Is the anyone with a double wishbone/s2000 or miata running such a mod???

Any chance roll center correction in SP will become free?

You'd have to have lowered the car so far that you'd need to lengthen the upper ( or shorten the lower) control arm to raise the roll center. I think there are a few West Coast S2k's in STR with shortened upper control arms, but that does the opposite of what you are looking for. I suppose you could use an offset bushing in conjunction with lowering, but I think you're getting into diminishing returns.

What is the concern anyway with the roll center being too low on a car?

current plan... clean up ap2 motor, stock intake manifold with some polishing. enlarge the oem throttlebody a few mill with a new flapper and such. leave head alone except cam gears. ap1 transmission is bolted up in the garage. shims made to aid the 8mm bolts through the 10mm flange holes and lots of locktite. (hardware allowance? correct if wrong.) 18x11 on front 18x11.5 on rear, fender work and all the goodies... will see how gearing ends up, should be fun regardless
will hit the ground in a month and a half
