Decided to skip e85. Between the lack of easily accessible e85 stations and the variability in blends in the northeast I figured it would be better to put that money towards something more important...like more tires and spare diffs

Speaking of Cryo...man was it good that I checked in with Puddy tonight. He said he'd have the diff put together but he's still waiting on Cryo'd 4.10 gears...what!? Had to make it clear that I couldn't have cryoed stuff in the diff so he's just going to adjust my diff to what I specified and put in the non-cryoed 4.10 he has lying around.

I still think we should be allowed to cryo though. For whatever cost it is to cryo a diff or parts of a diff housing, I'm sure it's significantly cheaper than going through diffs like popcorn. Anyone care to write something to the SEB with me? I feel like I'm constantly writing to them about stuff. I'm starting to think they hate me.

Pretty sure he cryos all the diffs. He told me he has the STR build with all the STR legal stuff that he's built for countless STR people. So I pushed him on what that entails and he said it's cryo-treating and a larger crush seal. I said "I don't think that's legal" and he assured me it is. It's not.

Hmm that's interesting. I'll definitely have to make sure he does it the right way. I thought my diff was previously cryo treated and wondered why it was a good deal but when I looked at the documents that were emailed to me it turns out that it was never cryoed which is why it was cheaper than the "stage 2" diff.

yep. The only real value is how thorough he is. With the right tools and some patience, you can get the precise results, unfortunately, all the things that he does that makes them "better" makes them illegal.
