I haven't had the driveline issues, but I have had a lot of suspension failures (particularly control arms)with all the added grip. Most of them were on the initial build-up and getting the car dialed in, but still. I think I have gone through 2 or 3 front lower control arms and 3 rear LCA's since last March.

I agree with Marc. I'm tolerant to breakage but if this keeps up, might as well go all out to SSM and beef up everything...or now that I have a second garage...get another S2000 and prep that for STR again.

Haha, you can't even launch at that RPM on street tires on a S2k without bogging.

my launches were about the same, just add about a thousand rpm. 4500-4800 and let out clutch gently, car pulls 2.1's at ppir. not sure it can ever do a 2.0, maybe in lincoln

Yeah, I plan on tracking the former SSM car this year, but could be convinced to part it out this Winter if people wanted some of the higher end stuff from the build.

I'm sure many of us would like your wheels. I call dibs on at least one set of 18x11s if you do

That's interesting. I see a lot of BS guys launch at near redline.
