Prepping for BSP
You guys see the new fast track. Non-oem hardtops are most definitely out so you guys without soft tops better have a rain plan. Also, this whole new change in stock class (renamed street class) will push a whole lot of people into SP.
Why would they go to SP? For those that do want to run SP, wouldn't they have run before this announcement? If anything it will take away from STR & Lotus stock has just gone up.
Because the proposed rules change allow R-comps only starting from SP and Mike has a good point about this limited SP stuff where you could end up with SS guys with additional allowances in BSP which would effectively make this class pointless for S2000s especially at prosolos.
Summary of proposed changes and reasoning behind it (agree or disagree, the SEB is gonna have a crap load of letters to read very soon).

So they don't like our proposals, but think this is fair? Who is running the show at the SCCA snd why do they think continuously screwing with developing-stable classes will help? Maybe they think we all can afford new cars to run each year. I also don't get why they don't promote popular cars like the S2000 more. Lets seriously get as many people commited to writing more letters ... even on the "no brainer" items they said no to. If they kill the S2000 in SP, they loose my participation. I am committed to this car for the next several years.

I just like the idea that dropping an LP SS car (possibly) into BSP wouldn't hurt the existing cars. They already f@#ked us for pro's this year...now this potential bullshit. Why not just say, hey, BSP guys you had a year now f@#k off.
