For the guys looking at ST4....why not Honda Challenge?
The more I read about the current state of TT, the more that makes sense. NASA SE actually seems to have a decent group of guys as well.
Yep. I bought my Honda Challenge H1 build yesterday, and I have hopes to race it in NASA SE next year. It is not a Honda S2000, however.

Would like to get in on the s2k mafia
It was supposed to be a secret group. Nice work Dysen.
Wait..what happened? I don't even have a FB account. What do I know about those FB groups and stuff. I just creep on IG these days.

I've been as high as 229.5rwhp and as low as 2535lbs competition weight. With the avg whp formula, I'd guess my avg whp would be around 220ish.
What in the how? Granted I'm probably 215lbs in full gear but the lowest I've ever scaled in impound is 2698.
AC is completely out, gutted doors, no windshield wipers, carbon top with lexan rear glass, SRS deleted along with dash, interior of gutted, aluminum coilovers, heater core delete, single exit exhaust, light wheels, think that's it. I weigh around 170lbs with gear. Nothing extraordinary I believe

I'm the same but add a cage. And I'm low 2700's with me in it (I'm 180).

If my new motor proves reliable I'll go the ST4 route as well. Car was an SCCA T3 car so all the safety gear is there. I just need to redo the fire system.

derail thread post:

Someone explain HC rules.. It says F22c cars in Hybrid 2675 and then 00-04 w/ f22c 2550lbs under Restricted. This makes my 2008 F22c car a Hybrid car at 2675lbs?

Yeah in Hybrid H1 you can do more modifications than in Restricted so you have to race at a heavier weight. You have to add weight for things like remote reservoir shocks and a BBK too.

10-4. So no way a S2k is getting to 2550 with cage so hybrid. With TT4 sounding out for me based on weight and power I might turn to that till TT5.

S2k is heavily penalized for H1, that and because there isn't a field in TX region has deterred me from even wanting to try.
