Advan Racing RG Cast 17x8.5 16.5lbs
There is a thread in our Wheel and Tire Special interest forum. Advan came up with a special 17x9 +60 offset wheel.
Here's the quote on weights...
"I will not have exact weights until the wheels are certified, however, my best guess is 15.5-16.5 lbs front and 16.5-17.5 lbs rear. These weights are very close (within .5 - 1 lbs) to forged wheel weights.
"
thanks,
-- Chris
So, I'm going to guess 16.8 - 17.2 with a price tag of $2340.00.
Granted, they are super good looking. However, I already posted on there that I was concerned about the +60 offset... after all I already beat up one of my fenders with +63. +60 would even make it worse.

they look awesome but for that price I could buy 2 sets of 949s. these 14.4 lbs buddy clubs for $2028 might be the wheel to have. Unless someone finds anything lighter, but I doult it.

Not to mention, no color looks better on Suzuka blue than deep sparkly grey.

Don't for get the tsw wheels. They are the same weight as the 949 racing and cost under $200 each when you work a deal on them.
Good deal for $200 a wheel though. Also, far better looking than the 949 6ULR's...
Two more things I wanted to add about the P1 QF's... First, Buddy Club must have super high build tolerances for this wheel. After balancing, 3 wheels only have 1 little lead counter weight... (1 wheel has two) and it's almost directly across from the valve stem...
Second, the center bore is almost identical in size to the center of the s2000's front hub. Too cool.

Looks like I have one of the camber challenged cars... I just installed the Mugen compliance bushings and gained little.
Max front camber: -1.7*/-2.1*
Good thing the J's camber joints are backordered...

Did you lower at all? Usually you can get more when lowered. Are you sure the car was level when checking? If you add and divide by two you are close to what most can achieve with a stock setup (-1.8).
The alignment was done by Soulspeed, a reputable shop here. I'm assuming they know what they are doing. The thought of shifting the subframe crossed my mind, in fact I mentioned it to them and they chuckled a bit.
Anybody have a good writeup on what to look for when shifting the subframe? While I don't have an alignment rack, I do have a four-post lift and three or four tools to check camber.
Our local alignment guy said he has used winches and straps to maximize compliance (or control slop) and has seen it gain a fair amount of camber on some cars. He wasn't talking specifically about s2000s, but was saying it would probably help on my car.
FWIW, I was hunting a similar issue on my car where the front right was 1 deg. max in AS and 1.3 max in lowered STR trim. He did some poking around and isolated the issue to the knuckle. Looks like a previous owner had a curb check in my car or something.

you might check into that as well.
