S2000 STR prep resource
For what I want, I would be happy to give up upper end HP for some low end TQ. (Wow, got to whine a 2nd time in one day. Haaa!) I wish I could show you my dyno results post VTACK controller install/tune. I must admit that I did get some low end benefits from my high dollar header, but you know one can never have enough.
Running in STR was part of my reasoning for picking an 06+ model so I could use flashpro, that and LBP was the color I really wanted. Once the last event is done in October it'll be time to start building the car right up until the roads are salted and it has to spend the winter in the garage. Damn winter, who knew it would always get so cold and snowy in Minnesota??

Still some good HP numbers from both cars, I should probably get some baseline dyno numbers before I start making changes...

Finally corner balanced...
Total weight = 2675 lbs with no driver. Everything was removed from the car including carpets, empty glove box, trunk, etc. Top was down as well.
50/50 front/rear balance was achieved on each side with me in the car, but there is a 90 lb bias to the driver side. Achieving a left right balance does not appear to be possible with driver in car.
Is this what everyone else has experienced?
Most of my weight reduction has been in the exhaust which is on the right side. To get no left right bias it would appear that the ride height would need to be significantly different.
Realistically I could lose about 10-15 lbs to be at my ideal weight.
