The cost of the Mugen bushings is FAR less than an LCA.

Not if you add up the cost of all 3 bushings included in the control arm.

Used control arms are even cheaper.

I learned my lesson as to not buy used shit, as you don't know the condition.

I got the VAFC plugged in last night - didn't do anything to the A/F ratio's - just moved the VTEC changeover down to 5500 for Lo to Hi - and moved from Hi to Lo down to 5000.
Please excuse me if I am wrong here, but can you use this method under the STR rules?

I was under the impression that only the 06+ AP2's could legally program their computers.

So, can an AP1 program its computer to lower the V-TEC kick in point, within the STR rules? Same question for an 04-05?

I was under the impression than VAFC's or other piggy back methods for tuning are allowed as long you retain the stock ecu......

Yup what they said ^

You can actually use a different ECU and a piggyback. Which is what I'm doing. AP1 + VAFC

Nick - did you compare the cases between yours and the AP1 ECU to confirm they were identical? I always assumed they were, but wondered if anyone ever actually compared the two.

Confused------------> I thought that the Emanage is a piggy back unit and therefore legal. Where am I wrong?
