S2000 STR prep resource
I got the VAFC plugged in last night - didn't do anything to the A/F ratio's - just moved the VTEC changeover down to 5500 for Lo to Hi - and moved from Hi to Lo down to 5000.
Big difference - there is no more jump as the second cam comes on. It will be nice not having to plan for the second cam halfway through a slalom.
I didn't need to do so in AS - but the extra bump from the K&N Intake in STR trim made the jump to the second cam quite significant.

I purchased my Konis, which were converted to double adjustible, from Truchoice for around $1200. Can't say enough good things about them. Quick, efficient and knowlegeable.
I also have been running 255 all season on AP2 rears. No rubbing issues and a lot more grip on the front.
HATE TO ASK this question pertaining to the proposed rules.
Will it be legal for AP2 cars to remove the CDV?

Most previous A-Stockers know this, but to tag on the bushing note Brian made, definetely check the compliance bushings on the front LCA's even if your car has low miles. After 2 seasons of abuse on Hoosiers in AS, I had torn mine pretty well and had lost a decent amount of camber and caster as a result. Good news in STR is you can replace them with the Mugen hard ones or something else non metal if you wish. In Stock you have to buy complete replacement arms as Honda doesnt sell them separately. I've got the old set of arms sitting in the garage just waiting for the Mugen hard rubber bushings for the STR build.

Don't be naive into thinking that any OEM bushing is going to provide the durometer needed to quell drivetrain oscillations. While that OEM diff/motor/trans mount may seem stiff when new is nothing compared to urethane, poly, or delrin.
Rest assured, anyone who is going to take prep level seriously will have their attention focused on any pivot area that sees oscillations.
