Taking the above classing system and applying it to an autocrosser who doesn't want to mess with his car too much to kick ass at SV, here's what I see as being a good setup.

Jason, Jason, and Jason - tell me if I'm missing something:

Hoosiers 100
Active rear wing 40
Penske Shocks 25
Wheels 20
Front swaybar 15
= 200 pts.

And here's the Road Racer setup:

Coilovers 75
RA-1/Kumho's 50
Active Wing 40
Rollbar -10
45 pts. of whatever else.

Here's what I'm putting on my next S2000:

Coilovers 75
265/225 Kumho's 50
Double-active Wing (75"-wide, 5ft. above deck) 40
Final Drive (4.4) 25
Intake 15
CF hood 5
Bitterman Rollbar -10

=200pts.

 

next? you bought another or sold your current one?

 

Because I've been contacted by "someone" about front and rear Mugen bumpers and I didn't know if they provided an advantage. If the shape of the car is changed, presumably it could change to provide an aero advantage. So, just to make sure, I thought I'd give it points, but I don't care. I'll take that off; It's gone. But don't complain and blame it on me when Saini kicks your ass with his Mugen front and rear bumpers!!!.

Here's what's gonna happen this year:

You are gonna have a bunch of guys at 210 or 220 points w/o supercharger that don't have a chance in unlimited.

 

too much faith in the SC imo. Dave didn't get "fast" untill he got shocks and got other mods.
