So the verdic is that if you plan on doing anything more than daily drive your car you should invest in an oil pan. I figure that should cover it.

Would the oil light come on as an indicator of oil starvation? Used to happen in my 914s till I got a deep sump, but I've never seen the oil light in cornering in the S2000....does this mean that I just haven't seen much oil starvation or is it due perhaps to how the S2000 monitors the oil level/pressure?
