How fast is the Integra Type R?
Also, to those who somehow seem to think that any race after 100mph will result in thr ITR/S2K killing everything else.... it won't. Please get back to reality.
What the HP to weight ratio on the M-Coupe? Also, wwhat year is it? Can you explain more about the M-Coupes HP, Torque and gearing? I knwo anough about the S2K. Also, the stock vs. modified argument is a moot point as I bought by car to mod. Run what you bring, no excuses. Some cars are better performers off the rack, some need some work and that is why people buy the. If we want to bring in #s, an ITR also used to cost US$26K.
So, you saw a S2000 walk a "chipped" (which chip? They are different) family car @ 5280 feet... big deal.
Also, why do you refer to yourself as in the third person? It's a little odd.

Im gonna have to call BS on a stock 1.8T hanging with a stock S2000 up to 120. I would race a chipped 1.8T 0 - 120mph for lots of money. I am not talking out of my ass, i've raced plenty of these cars(I get revved on by a dozen 1.8Ts everytime I freakin drive) and the outcome never changes. You beat the driver not the car. I can't tell you how many S2000 owners i've met, from this forum and on the road, that just don't know how to handle this car. It is not a forgiving car and needs to be driven to perfection to get max performance. Bone stock S2000s on average trap 99 - 101 and believe me when I say they pull HARD to 150.

Again, I have no interest in drag racing. If a modified GTI can run a quicker 1/4 mile, big deal. So can many cars, I choose not to own them either.

LOL...okay...then your idea of stock is rather different from the factory's idea. I guess all those millions Honda spent souping up a regular Integra means zilch right?
Also, I don't think anyone really mentioned drag racing...but it turned into one with you and your "colleague's" references to 0-60 blasts and 1/4 mile runs...
And a Type-R in the very low 14's..LOL...again...that's 1/100 drivers and they are thrashing their cars to do it. You guys need to stop thinking you're God...because you're anything but. This elitist attititude is making you look
and even Ferrari drivers don't act like this.

Riiight. So, according to your logic - my M coupe (which has gobs more torque) yet runs around the same 0-60 time as my S2000 should put many lengths on the S2000 from a stop, but ... and I must assume that magic is involved here because by the time we hit 60 the S2000 will catch up. I suggest you reasearch horespower,

Stock is how it was sold. I guess using your criteria the GTI is not stock any longer as it's basis is the golf....so VW tuned the Gold, Acura tuned the GSR and ended up with a better car.
Regarding the 1 in 100, again it is clear you have no experience with the ITR -- this makes your statements simply opinions. You can take your (elitest) attitude over to Honda-Tech and ask around in the ITR section should you wish to actually speak with some knowledge.
What I have learned from this thread so far.
1.8 T VW's never lose a race, if they do it's because they did not have enough modifications and the other car was cheating by having modifications.

My offer still stands....i'll race a Garrett or APR chipped 1.8T for good money. I have no problem with that. I have a couple type-r's that are also ready to win some cash. All this if bullshit gets to me, if you can put your money where your mouth is, then you know which car pulls harder. I'm not saying chipped 1.8Ts suck. I mean they're fast as hell for a 20k car and I would not mind driving one. I just know which car pulls harder.
*note: The passat weighs 3,199 lbs ... i don't know where you pulled 4,000 from....out of your ass maybe???
