Both cars are great. Street racing is stupid. Straight line races are gay.

Hondas rock

You ignoramus, the GS-R is a higher tuned model of the GS/LS or even the Honda Civic, as the GTI is to the Golf. The Type-R is comparable to the Golf R32 or the GTI 337.

1.8 T VW's never lose a race, if they do it's because they did not have enough modifications and the other car was cheating by having modifications.

No, we have learned that most S2K owners are cool and know cars except for a few who don't know their heads from their asses, or "Road and TracK' and Gran Turismo from going to an actual track.

I have been to 3 different drag strips (two frequesntly), and to this day, I have only seen 2 S2000s (one with I/E, dunno about the other) break 96mph for a trap speed. I have also only even seen two or three S2000s hit less then 14.5 in the 1/4 mile, and this is out of something like 20+ S2Ks that I have seen run. Does that mean that I do not believe it can go faster? No it doesn't. It just means that I have not seen it but people say so, they post slips, so I'll believe it.

As for calling BS on me Xpander.... that really, really, really pisses me off. When you can't accept something, you dismiss it as a lie? In that case, should I dismiss every single piece of verbal diahorrea that you seem to utter? Why don't you guys see the videos or the web-sites that we'e posted? Hey, I know why... maybe it's because you're scared of seeing something that will disturb that nice happy little bubble that you like to keep around your beliefs to keep yourselves happy.

Why the hell don't you go to any other forum and see what I post. I probably knew more about cars and racing 5 years ago then you ever will (and I'm only 25). My friend with the S2K knows how to drive (He's actually raced on a track, something I've done and you probably never will). I said that I hung with him, i.e. I was behind him and he was pulling away slowly, but not the way you mag-fantasy, "0-60" Cafe' racers seem to think that it will, i.e. like the fricking Enterprise entering warp drive or something.

As for "0-60"s Steve C; With that statement, you have just proved that you either do not own an M-Coupe or that your idea of racing is reading 'Car and Driver' and 'Road and Track', or both. If you want to mag race, then read the Car and Driver article where the STOCK 2002m GTI 1.8T did a 6.5 sec 0-60 (and they complained about not being able to launch)...

I guess it's just hard for those who are insecure to give others props, isn't it? I can praise the S2K and ITR all day long as I think that that are great cars, but you two seem to have a Napolean complex as far as other cars go...

Cheers.

P.S. If I see a non-Cafe' Racer, and sensible post, I will reply.

Do you mean, "Definitely"?

Also, do you mean, "Partake of a beer"?

If you want to be childish and point out grammatical mistakes, I would use the spell checker (and maybe consult someone who can write English) before sticking your foot in your mouth.

Disco Z, i've raced on sebring itn'l raceway in a formula dodge at skip barber's 3-day racing school that provides the option to get your SCAA license upon completion. I'm sorry an internet post can piss you off so much. This weekend i'll be racing two 1.8Ts and catching it on video. If you call this stuff cafe racing then excuse me, I didn't realize I was speaking with mr. andretti himself.
