NSX vs S2K???

Older NSX's (consider the age here too) are not mid 13 second cars. Not stock at least. The hp/weight ratios are about the same for both cars -- I'd call it an even match for the pre 3.2 liter cars.

I've never heard of a 91 NSX having the dunlops stock from the factory, unless it was an automatic.
My old 91 NSX was quicker than my S2000 even with 140,000 miles on it. Not an even match at all. The 3.0L V6 has more torque everywhere. Power to weight ratio is less important, same as with Turbo vs Supercharger comparisons.

MG
The RE010 was not an optional tire until the wheel size upgrade to 16/17.
Power to weight is in fact important. Torque -- AND gearing also play a factor. Regardless, no one is ever going to mistake either car for being very fast ...
If talking out of ones ass includes giving correct information, then I am an ass talker.
If you want to believe that a pre 3.2 liter NSX, automatic even with 200k miles, is faster than an S2000, I'm not going to stop you. It's a free country.
-Steve (who chuckles at how many NSX fanboys there are out there who have never driven the car, much less owned one).

Nsx fan boy, yes i am and a s2000 fan boy too...Yes i am a owner of both..is more then i can say about you.but my00 is not stock..but my 98 t is ..as i have meet many nsx owners and driven many nsx's,auto's too.so whats your point..
its hard to think that honda would make their roadster faster the there top of the line sports car..
and its hard to think that any car moving at 100 plus mph is not fast....
so whats fast to steve, may not be fast to others..
so yes, steve thinks talking out the ass means, steve is giving us correct information, yes he is a asstalker....
but to others would think talking out your're ass mean give us
so others would think your full of shit........ or just me.....
All I know is that my friend pulls away from me and other S2000s from a roll at about any speed. He's got a '95 Targa 5-speed. His car came with Yokos.
Also, the older NSX still gets about 240 rwhp. Comparing the power to weight using RWHP would be more accurate.
NSX
3164 (targa)/240 (rwhp) = 13.18
S2000
2800/200 (rwhp) = 14.00
The 3.0 Coupe owners who I've met have said they've run in the mid 13s.
3064/240 = 12.76 (better power to weight than a lot of high 13 sec cars)

Regardless, I will say again. High 13's are not fast. Yes, this is a personal opinion. I don't think you really get into the "fast" realm until you are well into the 12's. Z06 = fast. S2000 = quick. Who cares.
Instead of calling other people names when you don't agree with what they write, why not actually contribute to this thread with factual information?
